Before acceptance
A customer should receive the applicable cancellation, change, weather, vendor-cost, payment, credit, and refund terms in durable written form before accepting a proposal or making a payment.
An inquiry does not hold a date
A contact form, planning-form submission, planning estimate, call, or draft proposal does not by itself create a reservation. The event-specific documents should state exactly when a booking becomes confirmed and what requirements must be completed.
Starting prices and estimate ranges are nonbinding. They do not establish a cancellation amount, deposit, earned fee, or refundable balance.
Client-initiated cancellation
The final agreement should explain how a client gives notice, when notice is effective, which amounts may be refundable or nonrefundable, and how completed planning, reserved inventory, custom work, travel, rentals, food, flowers, venues, permits, and outside vendors are treated.
No cancellation percentages or calendar deadlines are stated here because they have not been verified. Silence on this page should not be interpreted for or against a refund.
Changes to date, location, guest count, and scope
A requested change is not accepted until feasibility, availability, site rules, pricing, and third-party effects are reviewed and confirmed in writing. Changes can affect equipment, staffing, transport, access, approvals, food, design, and the weather plan.
The agreement should state whether one or more rescheduling opportunities exist, any deadline or eligible period, whether pricing is recalculated, and what happens if the replacement date or site is unavailable.
Venues, custom goods, and outside vendors
Third-party providers may have their own booking, cancellation, rescheduling, substitution, and refund rules. Custom-produced items and perishable goods can have different timing and recoverability than reusable Solomia Events inventory.
The proposal should identify who contracts with and pays each provider, whose terms apply, and whether Solomia Events is coordinating the vendor or reselling an included service. No vendor cost should be assumed recoverable unless the responsible provider confirms it.
Weather and safety are a separate decision path
A client cancellation, an unsafe-condition decision, a property closure, and an official emergency order are not necessarily treated the same. The event agreement should connect the applicable cancellation terms to the documented weather process.
See the weather policy draft for the intended planning framework, without assuming a universal credit or refund outcome.
Cancellation by Solomia Events
The final terms should address what occurs if Solomia Events cannot deliver the confirmed services for a reason within its control, as well as force majeure, site closure, safety, and third-party scenarios. No substitute service or refund remedy is promised on this draft page.
Written event terms control
Once valid event-specific terms are verified and accepted, they should control over this general draft. Any material change after acceptance should be documented rather than inferred from a conversation.
Use the contact form to ask what cancellation information is available for a proposed event before submitting payment.
